DESCRIPTION

Capable of delivering under 2” groups at 50 yards, the P226® X-Five redefines high performance with its factory tuned single-action trigger, 5” slide and barrel, ergonomic wood Nill grips with beavertail, ambidextrous thumb safety and stainless slide and frame with magwell. The X-Five also comes with low-profile adjustable target sights, front cocking serrations and a 25-meter factory test target. Built on the proven P226 platform, the X-Five is ready to race right out of the box.

Having owned and fired many Berretta, Brownings, H&K USP, SIG 229S and other M. Browning designed or inspired handguns this Germanic work of art is by far the best handgun for fit, function and accuracy. My rig is in 357SIG and after some load development and a tuned up recoil spring it really did and continues to live up to the hype of being the out of the box master piece. The only problem I did encounter which is a concern was the 'v' spring on the safety catch was faulty causing the safety to jam on and required the reoval of the hand grips and manual removal of the safety 'rocker plate'. The pistol was sent back to the dealer and bits replaced and all was good. All in all this handgun is right up there with the best ever produced, thank you MR SIG for a great pistol.
