To meet the demand for 1911 accuracy and reliability in smaller packages , SIG SAUER® has extended the series to include pistols scaled down for concealed carry while preserving shooting comfort. Capitalizing on the design of the larger version 1911’s, these carry model handguns feature precisely machined slides and internal components, match-grade barrels, front strap checkering and other quality details. 1911 Carry models have a shortened stainless slide mounted on a full-size stainless frame. The 1911 Platinum Elite™ Carry is produced in the SIG SAUER® Custom Shop in a two-tone finish with aluminum grips and adjustable combat night sights. The 1911 Carry, with custom wood grips and Novak® night sights, is available in Natural Stainless or Nitron® finish. The smaller 1911 Compact has a compact frame and 6+1 capacity, in Natural Stainless or Nitron® finish. With a two-tone look, rosewood grips, and lightweight alloy frame, the 1911 C3 is excellent for concealed carry. For the ultimate, there’s the 1911 Compact RCS™ from the Custom Shop, where it is radically dehorned.
